Once upon a time there was a young boy named Carter. Carter was a nice little boy who always listened to his parents, did well in school, and had a lot of friends. He had honey brown, sandy hair, bright blue smiling eyes, and cute rosy red cheeks. He was only 7 years old, but he was very mature for his age and wasn’t involved in all the mischief that his other little friends got into. He was a wonderful, loved little boy.
One hot summer day, Carter was walking back home from school. On his way home, we went to the local corner store where his aunt worked and bought himself a water bottle because he was very thirsty. He drank it all in one gulp and carelessly threw the empty bottle onto the ground, and blankly continued on his way back home.
Little did Carter know that one day in the future, that that empty plastic water bottle would cause so much damage, and change the fate of planet Earth and the human being’s lifestyle so much.
500 Years Later
The Earth was a horrible place to be! It was over civilized; there were too many people, too much garbage, and too many buildings! The pollution was unbelievable and everybody was sure that the world would come to an end very, very soon. It was all because of a careless, stupid person who had decided to throw out their garbage on the Earth, and the Earth couldn’t take it anymore. This of course, was Carter from 500 years ago. Some of the greatest scientists on the planet were quickly trying to find a way to save the human race and their beloved planet Earth, but it wasn’t a smart mind that saved the world in the end.
Rafael was just a teenager boy who had to make a short movie for school. His story was about how a super hero saved the fate of planet Earth. He mentioned how they could grind up all the garbage on the Earth and pack it down, how they could use electricity to power all the plants and the weather, and everything else. How there would be a King that could control everything, even the weather and the seasons. How people would not live in houses, but a giant, humongous building where everybody would live that was called the Great Building.
The president of the United States watched this short movie that Rafael had created. The people had worked so hard to make this come true, and after seven years of manual labor, experiments, and doing things over and over again… it came true.
100 Years Later
“I am proud to pronounce as king of wonderful, beautiful, planet Earth, King Max Raffi!” King Max was so proud to be king, waving for the cameras, flashes popping everywhere. He would now control every other human being on the planet; he would control everything that happened on it. He would choose what happened to whom, who would die, and who would be born again.
The truth was King Max only wanted to be king so that he could try and save the world. Scientists said that the Earth would only last so long if they kept this up. The fuel needed for electricity would soon run out, and day by day, it was getting harder and harder for the people to breathe, for the air was getting so polluted. The lifespan for the human being had cut down from seventy-five to forty-five. The Earth was getting too artificial and nobody had to be told to know that the world would end very soon.
King Max was a specialist in history. He spent his whole life studying the history of the Earth, the government, the holidays, how the people lived, how they survived, what they ate, how they dressed… a lot of people thought it was silly, actually, but he only did it for the fate of everybody else. King Max had made a pact to try and change the Earth’s ways around to the way it used to be, because nobody liked it how it was now.
King Max had a great family. He had a loving wife and 7 children. Their names were Lauren, Lilly, Lila, Lora, Raffi, Ron, and Rufus. Except for Lora, none of the other children, although they loved their father, they did not agree with him to make the Earth like it used to be. They thought that they didn’t need to care how the world would end; for they would probably all die before that. They lived on the twentieth floor of the Great Building, in room 73337. They had the biggest room in the whole building, as king’s privilege.
