Internet Issues
Saturday, January 24, 2009 // 3:24 PM
My Internet has been down every morning since two days ago. I called Shaw and everything, but it hasn't been fixed. It lasted longer this morning, the Internet JUST started working. I had nothing to do so I went for a walk.

Not too much happened the last couple of days, except my hubby David came back online! He moved to Saskatchewan and he wasn't on MSN for a while so we just all assumed he was dead. But yeah, he came back! I loves you David. (:
Today I lost my purple head band which was very dear to me. Probably somebody stepped on it in the snow, so I'm very sorry purple head band, and please RIP.
After school today, I wanted to stay after school to watch the basketball practice, but Ms Alyward totally kicked me out, so I was wondering how I would get home, since the bus was gone. I thought about calling my mom, but I decided against that, considering she probably already left for work. So I was just circling the school for a bit, until I spotted Daniel and Brandon waiting at the transit bus stop, so I just walked over. Then Daniel payed for me for the bus (thank you!) and we took it, and I got home safe and sound (: I loves you Daniel!
But yeah, that's it for now!
Hope you're well, have a nice day.

Weirdest Dream
Sunday, January 18, 2009 // 4:30 PM
I had the weirdest dream, ever. It was kinda creepy but it's one I'd like to remember, just cuz it was so cool. Here it is:
I was at school, and I wasn't wearing anything. (Weird, I know!) So I hid in the little corner of the fence, while my friends were helping me cover up. Then, I hear this loud screaming and banging, so I look up and it's the storage room door. The little window on the storage room door is covered with faces. (Our school doesn't have anything like this. Just a dream.) And I have no idea, but I have this instinct to run away from them. So I just grab my brother, and I have towel wrapped around me so I just start running, and there are two people coming after us. This young lady and my grandfather. So we're running and we're running and I'm not running with my brother anymore. It's this girl, a little older than me. I'm not naked anymore either. I'm wearing all white. We keep running until we get to this neighbourhood. Not even a neighbourhood... it's like, a group of townhouses. I have been to this "neighbourhood" before in other dreams. So we're still running away from them, and we know the place better than they do, so we try to lose them by running between streets, until we make it to this big white house with a really big backyard. The girl I'm running with is all like "I think we lost them, we should just curl up here and go to sleep for the night." So we are lying there in the soil, and I remember holding onto my friend really tight. I wake up the next morning and my friend is already awake. She said that "they" came by during the night searching for us but they couldn't see us. Then I'm all scared. [ I don't remember what happens here. ] ... Now we are inside a house, and I am wearing this big poofy blue dress! Weird! We are still running away from my grandad and that lady, and they are in the house. We hide in little corners and stuff. My grandad knows the lady that owns the house, so they are welcome inside the house, but the owner doesn't know we're in there. We sleep inside the house, by the little balcony they have. We wake up, and I hear a toilet flushing in the room beside us, and I get all freaked out. A guy my age comes out of the bathroom, but he doesn't see us. He sits on a rolley chair and he goes on the computer. There's no way that he can't see us, so I just walk up to him and he looks at me, but I don't think he cares. We explain to him what is happening, and he agrees to help us hide from them. So we go inside his little closety thing, and we are just sitting there for a while, talking to the guy. Then my grandad calls out to me from downstairs, and it sounds so familiar, I almost yell back. Then he comes upstairs into the room, and says hi to the guy which is apparently the house owner's son, and he looks around, and i remember scrouching down really low to make sure he couldn't see me.
And that was when my brother rammed into my room and woke me up and I got really, really mad at him because I wanted to see how my dream would end. I know it doesn't sound too interesting but it was really pretty cool!
Today, I didn't do anything, really.
Sorry I couldn't come to your birthday party Manpreet!
I went to the mall today and I was just looking around. I bought a book at Coles, and I had brunch. Then I came home and watched a movie. Fun? Sort of.
Hope you're well,
Penny

******* HILARIOUS CELEBRITY QUOTES AT THE BOTTOM! + Some pics *******
Yesterday morning, I had my phone with me. I stuffed it in my right hand mitten, and I was flapping it around in people's faces. Brittani told me to take it out, so I did, and I put it in my right pocket of my black jacket from Garage. (Am I being too thorough?). We all went inside, and I walked into my homeroom class with my jacket on. I put my backpack down on my chair and realized I was wearing my jacket, so I took it off and walked to my locker, and stuffed my jacket in my already-crowded locker. I usually don't use my phone in class, except Mr. K's sometimes, but I didn't use it at all that day. Then, we got dismissed from last period and I went to my locker... then I searched for my phone. First I checked my backpack because everything is usually in there... but it wasn't there. So I searched through my locker... and it wasn't there... I checked all my pockets, even the classroom, but it wasn't there, either. I started to panick and everybody helped me look but it wasn't anywhere. I went home on the bus and I worried... as soon as I got home, I called my mom to tell her I lost it. Then, I called Telus to tell them to block off the service from my phone, just in case it got stolen. I never found it that night. The next morning, I planned on checking every class I've been in, I would empty out my locker, I would check the office, I would ask everyone... I was really scared I lost it forever. I love my phone, it's like, my best friend. I can't live without it! I took the bus to school that morning and my bestie Fatima told me that for sure no body stole it, because something like this happened to her before, too. Personally, I didn't believe her because what if it really did get stolen? (Sorry!) Then we came inside, and I put my stuff on my desk, and I went to my locker to empty it out. Fatima was already standing there, my cellphone in her hand. I was so happy! I guess I yelled really loud because everyone was looking at me and everyone kept asking why I yelled in the morning, but I didn't notice. Fatima's so amazing, I love her! Thanks so much! <3
Nothing much to say, just listening to Fall Out Boy! I usually don't listen to them, I just kinda... found them today! (: SUGAR WE'RE GOING DOWN!

Exams
Sunday, November 9, 2008 // 1:11 PM
I haven't been posting much because, believe it or not, I've been studying for the exams. They are coming up this week, two at a time! How much pressure are they trying to put on us? It's really stupid because we have to finish a science project, too. And we have to finish stories for English! I've been studying extra hard the last two days, so I decided not to do anything at all today, but now I feel guilty for not studying. Ugh. And I'm in a group with Kayla and Brittani and Dean for the science projects, and Dean is definitely not going to do anything. I really don't know what's happening.
Report cards are on the 21st and I really need to get good grades this term.
...
I have to get off the computer.

Mezzo Spruce: The Amazing Tree
Once upon a time, a long, long time ago, when Earth did not even exist, there was a planet called Semkake. It was a very civilized planet. There were amazing technologies that you would not even dream of, and the citizens of this small planet were literally capable of doing anything. But out of all these wondrous, unimaginable technologies, there was a mechanism called the Mezzo Spruce that awed everybody.
An old inventor named Max Alexander Mezzo first created the Mezzo Spruce. He was fascinated by the future, and all his life, he wondered what would happen five, fifty, five hundred years from now. He devoted his entire life experimenting and trying to invent something incredible, which would, one day, show him the future. It took him nearly his whole life, but he never gave up, and sooner or later, he had invented something that nobody even thought of, something you would expect in a boring science fiction book. Max Mezzo died soon after constructing the Mezzo Spruce.
The Mezzo Spruce was designed to be indestructible. Nothing, no force at all, could destroy it. It would start off as a dull gray color, looking like something that you would pick up off the floor and put into the garbage. Then, after about a year of being fed and watered, it would turn into a little sprout. Then, it would start growing very rapidly into a tree. There was an extremely high-tech camera in the bark of the tree that would see everywhere on Earth, which would last forever. Although Max Mezzo could not witness the future himself, it became very useful to the next generations of people in the future.
There were only three exact copies of the Mezzo Spruce in the entire universe. One was kept on the planet of Semkake, one was sent to another planet close by, and the final one was sent to Planet Earth. It would be hundreds, thousands, millions of years before the Mezzo Spruce would even reach Earth, but better send them now then later!
A Billion Years Later On Earth
“Ahh,” Prince Freddy yawned in his sleep.
Freddy was a small young boy of only eight, but he was very much respected, for he was the King’s only child. He was very handsome, with curly blonde hair and light hazel eyes, just like his father, and he had his mother’s pure skin and fit figure. Everybody was good to him, and he was unquestionably spoiled. Prince Freddy was a wonderful little boy who was in desperate need of a normal childhood. He did not know how to run and play like all the other little boys, he did not know how to have fun.
It was a hot day in mid July and it was the Prince’s ninth birthday. What a wonderful day it would be! He would wear his best clothes, be served the best food, and receive gifts from all around then country.
“Prince Freddy Sir, please wake up! It is your birthday today and I do not want you to miss this special day in your sleep! There are already a couple dozen packages addressed to you at the door, would you like me to bring them up? Please wake up Sir!” Barbara the maid called to him through his bedroom door.
“Thank you Barbara, I am up. Please bring the gifts up, and I will be downstairs very soon,” answered Prince Freddy.
“Yes, sir,” replied Barbara.
The Prince enjoyed his birthday dearly. It started with a delicious pancake breakfast served by his mother, followed by family company, then there was a big feast for lunch, of cakes, fruit, meat, and drinks, all imported from different parts of the world. After a filling lunch, there was a lot of time left for Prince Freddy to go talk to his family visitors. He often went outside to check if any more packages had arrived, and there was always some more at the door. Finally, just before he went to bed, he opened all of his hundreds of gifts.
For his birthday, Prince Freddy received enough money to make a poor man rich, enough clothes to dress a hundred naked men, loads and loads of children’s toys and games that would keep a child busy for a lifetime, and a new humongous bed that could fit seven grown men. He had also got a million knew knickknacks that he knew he would never play with, and a million new books that he knew he would never read.
After he thought he was finished opening the majority of his gifts, he looked around the room and spotted a small, cube shaped box with sparkly red paper and a golden ribbon tied around it. It had no label, but it was just human instinct to open it. So, Prince Freddy slowly took off the golden ribbon and carefully unwrapped the red paper to discover a polished wooden box. He opened the lid of the box to find a seed. It was in the shape of a teardrop and had a magical glow to it. He didn’t know it, but that seed would become something magnificent one day!
Prince Freddy ran outdoors, the seed carefully embraced in his tightly held fist. He got to the garden, and found a spot in the ground where nothing else grew, where the soil was rich and fertilized, where he had easy access to, to water it every day, and where the Sun would never be blocked out. He dug a perfect sized hole, gave the seed a quick kiss for good luck, and carefully lowered the seed into the Earth.
It took about a year for the seed to grow into a small sprout, and until that day, Prince Freddy came outside to play around it, and take care of it. After the sprout, it started to grow very rapidly into a large tree. It did not grow fruit, or flowers. After about a month, it did started to grow leaves, lots and lots of leaves. They were all of identical shape, and it was definitely something stupendous, a magical tree for sure! It was so abnormally perfect, flawless!
Just a year after the tree stopped growing, Prince Freddy played around the tree all the time. He was becoming more active and had a lot of fun with the tree. But after a month of sheer happiness, Prince Freddy died after a long fight with the flu. It was a sad day. His family decided to bury him by his tree, because everybody knew he loved that tree more than anything else, and made his last couple years the best they could be. It was indeed a very sad day, and it was too bad that he passed away before knowing the secret to his beloved tree.
His tree was the Mezzo Spruce on Earth.
The people on Semkake were ecstatic to find out that their Mezzo Spruce had finally reached Earth. It had taken a little bit longer than expected. It was extremely interesting to them to see how Earth worked, and how people acted so differently. It almost surprised them when they saw how stupid the people could be. Everything was working out perfectly, and the people on Semkake could not be happier.
Over the years, the people of Semkake had noticed that the people on Earth had gotten smarter. They discovered new ways to do things, and invented new things that would help them in life. They still weren’t even close to being as smart as them, but they were getting a lot closer. They had even got a television, computers, and flying automobiles!
The people got more and more civilized. After a couple more years, it got boring for the people of Semkake. The people on Earth did not seem very interesting anymore. They didn’t do the stupid things they used to do, and they were a lot smarter now, and they kept getting smarter. They all came to an agreement to not watch Earth for exactly one hundred years.
100 Years Later
It was a long time after the people of Semkake stopped watching Earth, and they decided to check up on it. They opened the screen, and were shocked to see how horrible it was. There was horrible pollution; they obviously did not know how to handle fossil fuels! It was getting hotter and hotter, global warming had struck and they clearly did not know how to handle that either. There were far too many people and the plants were all in a dying state. They could just hear the animals calling for help. It was frustrating for them because they could not do anything about it.
The people on Earth were very calm. They did not seem to care what would happen to their planet. They just did what they did before, except some certain people. Some people were working so hard to get the Earth back to the way it used to be, but the majority were the people who didn’t care, and they majority was too big! The people of Semkake decided they would do something about it; they would try to help Planet Earth… but how?
They all got together to brainstorm ideas to try and save Planet Earth, but none of the ideas that they thought of seemed very possible… except one. They decided they would take their special rocket that had never been used before. It would go seven hundred thousand times the speed of light, and was very dangerous. It was very doubted that the people who got sent would survive all the way, but it was worth a try. It was the best idea they had, after all. It would take them about three years to get to Earth, and all the supplies necessary had to be provided in the rocket. It was worth a lot of money, and it took a while to get ready for it. They chose the healthiest people on the planet to go on their expedition, a man of nineteen-called Kody, a man of twenty-four named Kyle, and a man named Jasper of thirty years old. When they got to Eath
Three Year Later
